Adam was the likeness and image of God. Adam became a living soul. When Adam’s mind was created in God, Adam lived out of his “tree of life” identity, (he was a tree of life).
Eve represents the soul of man, and she began to debate… “Hath God said we shall not eat…”(Gen. 3:1)? That’s where all sin originates…in the soul.
We
have to remember, the soul can pull apart from the spirit. You have to let your spirit have ascendancy over your soul! Your
soul will fight against the spirit. That’s the only war you
really know.
Scripture reference: I Cor.
2:14; “But the natural man receiveth not
the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can
he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” Here the scripture
talks about the soulish mind of natural man.
As long as the carnal mind is allowed to function in man he will be blind to the truth…THAT HE DOESN’T HAVE TO DIE! Christianity teaches that death is connected to a knowledge system that originated in the mind of man.
Here comes the biggie!!
Man
embraced a false sense of his true identity!!!
The power of the
mind of man has no basis in truth to form the realities of man’s life. Man
actually created his own world of sin and death.
Jesus said that
He came into this world that we may have Life.
In
John 14:6; “Jesus saith unto him, I am
the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” That
verse is the key to eternal Life.
Everything
that now causes us to die is wrapped in the fear of death.
Death is connected to the knowledge system that originated
in the mind of man!!!
Did you hear what I just said?
Everything that now causes us to die came from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
Man
brought death into creation by his actions and disobedience.
The
LORD God said in Genesis 2:17;
“But
of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in
the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
Jesus
said in John 10:10;
“…I am come that they might have life, and that they might
have it more abundantly.
These truths
combined with the truths that you (Pastor Joanne) are teaching in “The Level
Above” series 397 is so powerful…this is where it is at: We
must end the mental assent!! It’s KILLING off too many believers!!!
I have so much
more to tell you. I’ll keep writing and calling and praying and believing and
teaching my children, and all those who will hear!!
